It crossed the 10,000 monthly sales mark twice in the last four months. The micro-SUV was among the top six selling SUVs in India for the third quarter of FY 2022, ahead of many established models in the SUV space.
The Tata Punch is the second Tata car to be offered with a custom pack, which can be added to the variants for a personalized experience, with additional accessories to choose from. Whose price ranges from Rs 30,000 to Rs 45,000. This helps to make this car more attractive and comfortable.
It is offered in four variants, which include Pure, Adventure, Accomplished and Creative. The Tata Punch has been brought in the price range of Rs 5.49-9.09 lakh and is placed between the Tata Tiago and the Tata Nexon in the company’s lineup.
It is to be given a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, IRA Connected Car technology, 27 connected features have been given in it. In terms of safety, reverse camera, cruise control and automatic rain sensing wipers have been provided.
Apart from this, it has been provided with ABS, EBD, two airbags, ISOFIX anchors, corner stability control, tire puncture repair kit. The company’s existing 1.2-litre, three-cylinder, Revotron petrol engine has been used in the Tata Punch micro-SUV.
This engine produces 85 bhp power at 6,000 rpm and maximum torque of 113 Nm at 3,300 rpm. With this engine, the company has also given the option of 5-speed manual and 5-speed automatic gearbox.
The Tata Punch micro-SUV is based on the company’s new Agile Light Flexible Advanced (ALFA) architecture. In terms of size, the new Tata Punch is quite compact, measuring 3,827 mm in length, 1,742 mm in width and 1,615 mm in height, apart from having a wheelbase of 2,445 mm.
The SUV has a ground clearance of 187 mm and water vending capacity of 370 mm. Let us inform that recently Tata Motors has launched the new Kaziranga Edition of Tata Punch, which has been launched at a price of Rs 8.58 lakh (ex-showroom).
