Tata Price Hike: Tiago, Punch, Nexon became costlier, Tata increased the prices of vehicles
Tata Motors cars will become costlier from today, as the car manufacturer has increased the prices of passenger vehicles. That is, now if you buy Tata’s car, then you will have to pay more for it. Mumbai based Indian car manufacturers The average ex-showroom price of all its cars and SUVs has been increased by 0.6 percent. This price will be based on the variant and model.
The increase in its prices is due to the changes in the BS6 Phase 2 emission norms that came into force on 1 April 2023. All vehicle manufacturers are working to launch the E20 fuel-ready model, under which the prices of the cars have been increased.
Prices were increased even before this
Earlier, after the company increased the price in February this year, now the automaker has increased the prices of its internal combustion engine (ICE) portfolio of passenger vehicles by an average of 1.2 percent.
Last month, Tata Motors announced a price hike of up to 5 percent on its commercial vehicles. Tata Motors’ Tiago, Tigor, Punch, Harrier, Nexon and Safari will become costlier from May 1. The price of Passenger Vehicles from Tata Motors ranges between Rs. 5.54 Lakh and Rs. 25 Lakh.
Prices of cars from Maruti to Hyundai increased this year
Not only Tata Motors, other car manufacturers in India also increased the prices of passenger vehicles earlier this year. Car manufacturers ranging from Maruti to Hyundai and Honda have increased the prices of their cars in the range of Rs 2,000 to Rs 15,000 depending on the variant.
