New Delhi: Tata Nexon Mid Size Coupe SUV Launch India: Tata Motors may soon introduce its best-selling SUV Nexon with a different look and size, which will be coupe-styled. Yes, Tata Motors is preparing to bring a mid-size SUV based on Nexon in the first quarter of the next financial year i.e. 2023, which will be coupe style and it can be launched under the name Tata Blackbird. It will look a lot like the Nexon, but will be styled differently as it gets bigger in size. Based on the Nexon, this midsize SUV will compete with other popular SUVs including Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos.

The Tata Blackbird can be launched in the early months of next year and is likely to be showcased at the Auto Expo 2023. It is also likely that an electric variant of the upcoming Tata Nexon based midsize coupe SUV will also come, as Tata Motors is now focusing on electric mobility as well. At present, talking about Tata Blackbird, the length of this SUV will be 4.3 meters and it will be developed on the X1 platform, on which Tata Nexon is also based.
Can anything special happen?
The upcoming Tata Blackbird will see the same A-pillar, windscreen and front doors as the Nexon SUV. It will get a completely different rear look with bigger wheels, longer doors and bigger overhangs. Tata Motors will offer its upcoming SUV with both petrol and diesel engine options. It will have a bigger seat, more legroom and boot space for the passengers. At the same time, a 40kWh battery pack will be seen in the electric variant of this SUV, whose battery range can be up to 400 km. The upcoming Tata Blackbird will have a great look and powerful engine as well as the latest features.
