Tata Nexon EV Jet Edition launched at Rs 17.50 lakh, know what’s new

Tata Motors recently introduced the Jet Edition of its Nexon, Harrier and Safari SUVs and now the company has brought the Jet Edition of Prime and Max, both the variants of its popular electric SUV Nexon EV. The company also sells electric models under the Nexon range and is the largest selling electric car in the country.

Talking about the changes of Tata Nexon EV Jet Edition, it has been given Starlight Dual Tone color option, it gets a bronze body and silver roof. At the same time, instead of the electric blue accent found in it, gloss black or silver accent has been given. Now the blue accent of the electric model is not seen anywhere.

Talking about its look, the bottom line of the window has been kept in gloss black, while the tri-arrow and fog lamp garnish found on the bumper have been kept in silver color. The EV logo on the grille has been kept in a new dark chrome finish and the 16-inch alloy wheels have been kept in a new jet black color.

Its bronze and black theme is also seen in the interior. Bronze trim has been given on its dashboard and door panels, while the leather door pads have been kept in the new granite black color. The blue accents found near the AC vents and center console have also been made gloss black and the white seat upholstery gets new bronze stitching. Jet stitching has been given on the front seats.

No changes have been made in its features and equipment. At the same time, mechanically it has been kept the same as before. The Tata Nexon EV Prime is powered by a 30.2 kWh battery pack that comes mated to a 129 hp electric motor and the company claims that it offers a range of 312 km. On the other hand, the Max model has a battery of 40.5 kWh and it offers an ARAI certified range of 437 km.

The prices of Tata Nexon EV and Tata Nexon EV Max have also been increased in the month of July. The price of the Nexon EV was increased by up to Rs 60,000. The price of its XM model was increased by Rs 45,000, the price of Dark XZ + variant by Rs 20,000, XZ + Lux model by Rs 35,000.

Tata Motors’ Nexon EV is the most popular electric model and in such a situation, its Jet Edition model has also been introduced to woo the customers in the festive season. Keeping in mind the price increase, the company has only changed its look.
