Tata Nexon EV Dark Edition: Tata Motors recently launched the Dark Edition of its entire SUV lineup, including the Nexon, Nexon EV, Harrier, and Safari. This special edition is now available in the single Empowered Plus LR variant of the Nexon EV, priced at Rs 19.49 lakh ex-showroom. Following the launch, the Nexon EV Dark has begun to arrive at dealerships nationwide.
Design: The exterior of the Nexon EV Dark features Onyx Black paint with blacked-out elements, including the grille, window line, pillars, door handles, roof rails, Tata logo, and ORVMs. It also sports new 16-inch alloy wheels and receives a fully black treatment. Additionally, this special edition boasts a #Dark badge on the front fender.
Features: Inside, the cabin of the Nexon EV Dark showcases an all-black theme with #Dark badges on the front seat headrests. As for features, it is based on the top-spec variant and includes a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless smartphone connectivity, a 9-speaker JBL sound system, digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, automatic climate control, electronic parking brake, 360-degree surround camera, electric sunroof, and blind spot monitor.
Powertrain and Competition: Powering the Nexon EV Dark is a 40.5kWh battery pack paired with a single motor setup. This electric vehicle boasts a range of 465 km and the electric motor generates 142bhp power and 215Nm peak torque. In the market, it competes with the Mahindra XUV 400 and MG ZS EV, both claimed to have a range of 456 and 461 kilometers per charge, respectively.
