Tata electric car: Soon the electric avatar of Tata Nano can be seen. Recently digitally produced photos of Tata Nano EV have also surfaced.
Tata Nano Electric: Demand for electric vehicles is increasing continuously in the Indian market. Tata Motors remains number one in this segment with a share of around 80 percent. The company launched its cheapest electric car Tata Tiago EV this year. Now there are reports that the electric avatar of Tata Nano may be seen soon. Recently digitally produced photos of Tata Nano EV have also surfaced. This design has been designed by automotive design artist Pratush Raut. Looking at the photos, it seems that it will be quite advanced in size.
Talking about design, it can be given eyelid shaped DRL, compact headlamps and large size mirror panels. Smiley effect is given in bumper section.
The look and feel of the side panels is quite attractive. Its front door has flush handles, while the rear door has handles on the C-pillar. It will be given a longer wheelbase, which will increase interior space.
Tata motors with Nano Electric can have the advantage of bringing the first vehicle in the micro-EV segment. This segment is being well liked in international markets like China. A similar can be expected for India, where entry-level hatchbacks currently dominate the number game.
How much range
It may be Tata’s cheapest electric car after launch. The range of Nano EV in full charge can be around 200 km. Tata was successful in bringing electric avatars of popular cars like Nexon, Tiger and Tiago, which customers also liked. Next year the company will also launch an electric version of Tata Punch.
