The Tata Nexon EV range gets some additional features from the Nexon EV Max under the prime moniker model. As a feature addition, the Tata Nexon EV Prime comes with features like multiple region modes, cruise control, smartwatch connectivity and i-TPMS.
It is worth noting that these new features will also be rolled out to existing Tata Nexon EV owners through a software update. The update will be available across the brand’s service centers from July 25, so customers who wish to get the update can visit the company’s service centers.
Talking about the new long range version of the Tata Nexon EV, the Tata Nexon EV Max is being sold in three color options – Daytona Grey, Pristine White and Intensity-Teal. Its intensity-teal color option has been offered exclusively for the all-new Tata Nexon EV Max.
Potential customers can choose this car in a total of two variants XZ + and XZ + Lux. However, the company has given two charging options with both these variants, which include 3.3kW and 7.2kW AC fast charger. The company has launched Nexon EV Max in the market with a big battery pack.
Thanks to this battery pack, its range has increased to more than 400 kilometers. The Nexon EV Max uses a 40.5 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. This battery pack is more capable than the 30.3 kWh battery pack of the standard model. This battery gives the car an ARAI certified range of 437 kms on a single charge.
Whereas the standard Tata Nexon EV has a certified range of 312. The Nexon EV Max offers a longer range of 116 kms than the standard model. The new Nexon EV Max is capable of generating 143 bhp of power and 250 Nm of torque from its 105 kW electric motor.
At the same time, it can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 9 seconds. Taking the charging experience to the maximum level, the Nexon EV Max is offered with 3.3 kW and 7.2 kW AC fast charger options. Its 7.2 kW AC fast charger can be installed at home or office.
