Tata-Mahindra was shaken by the sales of this company, increased dominance in rural areas, tremendous sales of this cheap car


Hyundai Rural Sales: Till now the cars of Maruti, Tata and Mahindra were well liked in the cities as well as in the villages. But now a car company is challenging the kingship of these three companies. In fact, Hyundai has recently released its Rural Sales Report which has revealed shocking figures.

Hyundai’s rural sales increase

According to Hyundai, the company’s sales in rural markets are set to cross 1 lakh units in 2022, increasing by 17% over 2019. Tarun Garg, COO, Hyundai Motor India, said that the demand in rural markets has increased in the last two years. He told that the company has opened more than 600 outlets in rural areas, whose purpose is to give the benefit of the company’s service to the customers living in the villages.

Demand for these models

According to the company, customers in rural areas liked the Hyundai Creta and Venue the most. Apart from this, Hyundai’s affordable hatchback, Grand i10 Nios was also well received by the customers.

Garg said that rural customers pay more attention to their vehicles and demand more service. Therefore, the company has increased the manpower in these areas to more than 5,000. Hyundai recently launched the first door-step mobile service van in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. Apart from this, the company launched its 100th mobile service van in Siliguri, West Bengal.


Hyundai Rural Sales 2022


Hyundai has sold a total of 62,276 vehicles in the Indian market in the month of January, registering a growth of 16.6%. If compared to January last year, the company had sold a total of 53,427 units of vehicles. The company said that last month domestic sales stood at 50,106 units. Whereas the company had sold 44,022 units in January 2022.

2023 Creta launched

Hyundai recently launched the updated model of the Creta. The new Creta has been updated as per the new BS-VI emission norms that will come into effect from April, 2023. Its starting price is Rs 10.84 lakh, ex-showroom. It gets the same engine as the RDE and E20, and also gets 6-airbags.
