Tata Motors new car: Tata Motors introduced the NRG version of the Tiago last year. Now the company has launched a new XT variant of Tiago NRG. The new variant is 40 thousand rupees cheaper than the already existing XZ variant.
Tata Tiago NRG XT variant: Tata Motors has launched a new XT variant of its hatchback car Tiago NRG. The company has priced the Tata Tiago NRG XT variant at Rs 6.42 lakh (ex-showroom). Tata Motors introduced the NRG version of the Tiago last year. It was specially designed keeping in mind the young customers. Now the company has introduced its new variant on the occasion of completion of one year.
Tata relaunched the facelifted Tiago NRG in August 2021 and was only available in the fully loaded XZ variant. Now there is a new affordable version which brings the price down to around Rs 40,000.
Tiago NRG has given features like
14-inch hyperstyle wheels, 3.5-inch infotainment system, steering-mounted controls, height-adjustable driver seat and front fog lamps in its new XT variant. Apart from this, the XT variant of the ‘regular’ Tiago has also been updated with features like 14-inch hyperstyle wheels, height-adjustable driver seat and rear parcel shelf.
The Tiago NRG is likely to attract more youngsters with its side cladding, black roof rails, charcoal black interior color scheme and ground clearance of 181 mm. It is 37 mm longer than the regular Tiago. Talking about the engine, it is powered by the same 1.2-litre, naturally aspirated, 3-cylinder petrol engine that makes 84 bhp power and 113 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed AMT with a 5-speed manual.
The new Tata Tiago NRG XT variant gets blacked-out B-pillar, rear parcel shelf, vanity mirrors on the passenger side. Let us know that the Tiago NRG was introduced last year. It got an update in August 2021. Compared to the regular Tiago, it gets sharper headlamps and a differently designed grille. Its front and rear bumpers also look different.
