After this, the option of internal combustion engine (ICE) will also be offered in it. The company has introduced this electric SUV concept with practicality and large cabin space, which gives it excellent mobility and unmatched road presence and reflects the modern SUV typology of Tata Motors.

The company has informed that Tata Curvv is likely to be launched in the Indian market by the year 2024. The electric SUV concept will introduce India to a unique, edgy and sporty coupe body style that was earlier only seen in high-end luxury segment cars.

On this occasion Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd. and Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd. Shailesh Chandra, MD, said, “Our ongoing business transformation is becoming history. From record sales to increase in market share, the last fiscal has been a magical year for us.”

He added that “As a wonderful year passes, I am extremely happy to announce a new beginning of the New Year, with a new ‘Promise’, a new ‘Idea’ and a new ‘Design’ – this wonderful It’s all put together in the electric SUV concept – the Tata Curvv.”

Coming to the design of the Tata Curvv, the electric concept car has been designed with a coupe roofline and is an evolution of the Tata Sierra EV concept showcased at Auto Expo 2020. According to information received from Tata Motors, the Tata Curvv will be placed above the mid-size SUV and below the premium SUV segment.

It is believed that as an electric car, the Tata Curvv will be able to cover a distance of up to 500 km on a single charge. It gets LED Daytime Running Lamps (DRLs) at the front which are visible across the entire width of the bonnet crease as well as run down to the ORVMs at the edges.

The primary headlights are mounted on the bumper of the car and the headlight unit is housed in a triangle-shaped shell. Gray machine-cut alloy wheels are also seen in the teaser. The logo of Tata and EV is visible in the rear. Apart from this, the curved back windshield and sleek roof-mounted spoiler can also be seen.
