Tata Harrier and Nexon to get ventilated seats as standard, updates coming soon

On the other hand, three special editions of the Tata Harrier and two special editions of the Tata Nexon are being sold with their standard variants. While most of these mainly come with cosmetic enhancement packs, cars like the Tata Safari have been introduced in the Gold Edition and the latest Kaziranga Edition.

In both these editions, the company has given cosmetic updates as well as many feature updates. These updates can also be purchased as a unique pack. Now it is about their special editions, but the latest information is coming out that Tata is going to give some features to the standard variants of its Harrier and Nexon.

What will the standard Tata Nexon range get?

The Tata Nexon Kaziranga Edition is based on the top-spec XZ+ (O) dual-tone variant of the standard variant and costs Rs 54,000 more than the standard variant. Along with this, it comes with petrol, diesel as well as manual and AMT gearboxes.

Talking about the features, the Tata Nexon Kaziranga Edition gets ventilated front seats, auto dimming mirrors and a built-in air purifier. The company is providing these features with a small price hike, due to which this special edition goes beyond the standard range.

The Tata Nexon Kaziranga Edition is the second compact SUV to be offered with ventilated seats, while the first car was the Kia Sonet. Now the latest information is coming out that the standard variants of Tata Nexon will also be equipped with front ventilated seats.

What will the standard Tata Harrier range get?

The Tata Harrier Kaziranga Edition is based on the XZ+ dual-tone variant of the standard variant, which costs Rs 47,000 more than the standard variant. The car is available in diesel manual and automatic variants. Additional features on the Kaziranga Edition include ventilated front seats.

Apart from this, this edition includes wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and a built-in air purifier. These features are likely to be offered on the Haier variant at a slight price hike. For reference, a similar upgrade to the Tata Safari resulted in a price hike of Rs 12,000.

It also includes wireless charging and rear seat ventilation, which is not available on the Tata Harrier. This seat ventilation makes the Harrier Kaziranga Edition the only one among its natural rivals like Mahindra XUV700 and MG Hector to be offered with this feature.

Ventilated seats pack in an in-seat blower (usually in the backrest) that performs independent of the vehicle’s air-conditioning unit and expels air through tiny holes to conduct air and prevent/reduce sweating Huh.

This feature proves to be a boon in India, as India experiences a warm tropical climate for the most part, with high average temperatures throughout the year.
