Tata Altroz ​​completes two years in the Indian market, Dark Edition now available in XT and XZ+ variants

The Altroz ​​XT and XZ+ Dark Edition trims share the same exterior and interior design as their other Dark Edition models. Some new features have also been included in both these models. These new features include premium features including perforated leather seats, rear armrests, dark tint hyper-style wheels, height adjustable driver seat, rear headrest, front adjustable seat belts, leather wrapped steering wheels, leather wrapped gear knob.

Dark theme exteriors and interiors along with dark mascots on the new XT variant add to the bold and premium appeal. Adding to the above features, the top-of-the-line XZ+ variant is now offered with new additional safety features like brake sway control and iTPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System).

Tata Altroz ​​is available in 1.2L petrol and 1.5L turbo diesel engine options. The 1.2-litre petrol engine of Altroz ​​generates 86 bhp power and 113 newton meter torque. This engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. Whereas the 1.5-litre turbo diesel engine generates 90 bhp power and 200 Nm of peak torque. Only a 5-speed manual gearbox has been given with this engine.

It has been built on ‘Impact 2.0’ design language. This car has projector headlamps, fog lamps on the bumpers and LED tail lights at the rear. Tata Altroz ​​measures 3990 mm in length, 1755 mm in width, 1523 mm in height and 2501 mm in wheelbase.

The interior of the Tata Altroz ​​looks quite premium with the dual tone color scheme. Inside, the car gets features like ambient lighting, a 17.78-cm free-standing touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Harman surround sound, steering wheel mounted controls and rear AC vents.

Talking about the safety features, safety features like ABS, EBD, corner stability control, front seatbelt reminder, speed alert system, ISOFIX anchor have been provided in it. Tata Altroz ​​is built on Tata Motors’ ALFA platform which is known for its superior strength and balance.

Let us tell you that Tata Altroz ​​has been given a 5-star safety rating in crash tests by the Global NCAP Agency. It is the safest hatchback in the country. Altroz ​​has scored 16.13 points out of 17 in adult safety and 29 out of 49 in child safety.

Two airbags are offered as standard across all variants of the Altroz. At the same time, this car has been found stable in the crash test. Tata Altroz ​​is available in India at Rs. 5.85-9.59 Lakh (Ex-showroom).
