Status Privacy:
With this feature you can share your status only with people in your contact list. You can share the status with all your contacts or you can select only those people with whom you want to share the status. For this you have to go to Status Privacy option after clicking on Accounts in Settings, here you have to choose between My Contacts, Only Share With and Except My Contacts.
Hiding Online Status:
Some time ago WhatsApp introduced a useful feature for its users. Many people don’t want others to know they are online. This feature has been launched to overcome this problem of users. With the help of this feature, users can now hide their online show activity. That is, after enabling this feature, even if you are online, no one will know about it.
Read Receipt:
If you don’t want anyone to know that you have read a WhatsApp message, you can take help of this feature. For this you have to go to Settings > Account > Privacy and turn off the Read Receipt option.
Profile photo:
This feature has been provided keeping in mind the privacy of the users. After this feature you can hide your photo without deleting it. For this go to settings and click on account and then in privacy option you will see an option of profile photo. Once you click on it, you will get the option of Everyone, My Contacts, My Contacts Expected and Nobody.
