Samsung ISOCELL HPX has a 1/1.4 inch optical format. The sensor area is 24% larger than the Sony IMX766. The company claims 16:1 binning, which the HP3 also has, 8K video capture at 30fps, and Super QPD AF autofocus.

Samsung HPX ISOCELL uses new DTI technology to improve color reproduction while reducing pixel crosstalk, while ISOCELL 3.0 technology is used to improve signal-to-noise ratio. The sensor supports three resolutions: 200, 50 and 12.5 MP.

The presentation is expected on October 27
