Switzerland will release an implant that kills a person if you forget to deactivate it

The implantable device must be deactivated regularly. If you forget to do this, the implant will release a lethal dose of nitrogen into the body. At the same time, the device does not contradict Swiss laws.

Nitschke explained that a person with dementia can now legally fill out a special paper and, being of sound mind, write: “If the disease intensifies, kill me.” Even ten years later, a doctor may come, read the paper, and legally administer a lethal injection. But the implant saves a person from the need for third-party intervention. If the mind is completely lost, and the owner of the implant forgets to activate it, it will work. To protect a person from simple forgetfulness, the device will be able to emit a sound signal for “a day or two” before activation.

It should be noted that this is only a concept so far.
