Suzuki’s two wheelers have increased demand in India, so many units sold in the last 12 months

New Delhi:
suzuki motorcycle india Private Limited (SMIPL) has released the sales report for March 2021. Japan’s two-wheeler subsidiary Suzuki Motor Corporation registered sales of 65,495 units in March 2022. During this time the company sold 50,734 units in the Indian market. At the same time, Suzuki exported 14,761 units in March 2022. Cumulatively, SMIPL sold 754,938 units during April 2021 – March 2022. Whereas, in the last financial year, the company sold 591,846 vehicles. The recently launched scooter from Suzuki Motorcycle India, the Avenis, proved to be one of the popular picks for the customers.

Commenting on the sales performance, Satoshi Uchida, Managing Director, Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd said, “It is quite satisfying that despite the challenges and supply chain issues induced by COVID-19, we have successfully registered a sales growth of 27.6 per cent. . FY 2021-22. This growth shows that our products have been well received by our consumers. Additionally, the sales response on our recently launched scooter Avenis has been overwhelming. We are grateful to all our customers and dealer partners who put their trust and confidence in the brand, and made Avenis a successful product in just a few months.

Suzuki V-Strom SX

Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited (SMIPL) has launched its new Suzuki V-Strom SX in the Indian market. With this bike, Suzuki has entered the 250 cc adventure sports touring segment. The 250 cc V-Strom SX gets its styling and design from the V-Strom family. Its Delhi ex-showroom price is Rs 2.12 lakh.
