What’s special about V-Strom 250

Launched in India, this Suzuki V-Strom 250 is quite different from the bikes sold abroad. The bike is based on the Gixxer 250 range platform and shares its mechanicals with them. Other details including engine

The V-Strom 250 is powered by the same 249cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine that powers the quarter-litre Gixxers. This motor generates 26.1 hp at 9,300 rpm and 22.2 Nm of peak torque at 7,300 rpm, which is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. It gets telescopic forks at the front, mono-shock absorbers at the rear, and multi-spoke alloy wheels. For braking duties, the bike gets dual channel ABS with disc brakes at both the ends.

What did the company say?
