Suzuki unveils limited edition Hayabusa Bol d’Or, know price and features

While the Bol d’Or retains the Hayabusa feel, it gets a new gold and black paint scheme with Bol d’Or stickers on the side fairing. The windscreen is also bigger than the stock unit and gets a flatter saddle, new rear seat cowl, front brake and clutch lever upgrades and a tail light.

It is powered by the same 1,340cc liquid-cooled inline four-cylinder motor. But the stock exhaust has been made for a new Akrapovic units, which may slightly change the output. The engine crankcase cover is now made of carbon fiber and Suzuki will also be giving owners a free rub for their bikes.

The rear of the bike comes with race-oriented cosmetic upgrades. It looks great with a sporty seat cover covering the rear seat. On the engine, the carbon fiber goods act as the crankcase protector, while the anodized hardware helps keep many parts of the bike looking good.

The Suzuki Hayabusa Bol d’Or is limited to just 100 units and will be sold only in the French market. Its price is 27,499 Euro (approximately Rs 22.60 lakh, ex-showroom). As of now, Suzuki India only offers the standard trim in the country with a price tag of Rs 16.41 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

Let us tell you that recently the company has taken the curtain from the new edition of Hayabusa named GP. Each unit of the Hayabusa GP Edition has a great finish in their Moto GP Suzuki-Ikster racing livery, with one number 36 for 2020 MotoGP champion Joan Meir and 42 for her current teammate Alex Rins.

Each bike gets different red/yellow accents on the front fairing, rims, side fairing and rear seat cowl. Suzuki has added all the features like headlights, turn indicators, mirrors and even more to make riding fun. Number-plate bracket is given. Suzuki has fitted the popular Akrapovic on every bike.

It is not yet clear whether these will be a one-off special edition or a production bike-based model run.
