Suzuki Motorcycles sold 50,734 vehicles in March 2022, down 15.7%

The company exported 14,761 units of vehicles from India in March 2022. Talking about the financial year 2021-22, the company has sold a total of 7,54,938 vehicles during this period, which is an increase of 27.6 percent as compared to 5,91,846 units sold in the financial year 2020-21. The company said that the recently launched Suzuki Avnis 125 scooter is getting good response.

The company has launched the new sporty scooter in India at a starting price of Rs 86,700 (ex-showroom). This new sporty scooter from Suzuki Motorcycle has been brought in the competition of TVS NTorq and Honda Dio. The company has also started deliveries of Avanis 125 from March 28 across the country.

Talking about the Suzuki Avenis 125, this scooter is powered by a 125cc engine equipped with Fuel Injection (FI) technology. This engine generates power of 8.7 bhp at 6,750 rpm and peak torque of 10 Newton meter at 5,500 rpm. The weight of this scooter is 106 kg. The company claims that the high power and low curb mass gives the scooter a thrilling ride.

Talking about the design of Suzuki Avenis 125, its design is quite sporty. In this, cuts and craze have been given in many places in the body which make it aerodynamic. Suzuki Avenis 125 has been given a muscular front look. It gets trapezoidal LED headlamps and air intake vents on either side.

The handlebar cowl also gets turn indicators and a small fly screen. The side panels look sharp and the rear gets twin LED taillights with turn indicators inspired by sports motorcycles. Suzuki Avenis 125 also gets the Suzuki Ride Connect feature, which allows the smartphone to be connected to the scooter via Bluetooth.

Many connected features of the scooter can be accessed via Bluetooth. The scooter comes with an LCD instrument cluster that provides all the necessary readouts like speed, fuel gauge, trip meter, odometer, clock etc. In its instrument cluster, information like call alerts, SMS and WhatsApp alerts, over-speed warning, phone battery level display, ETA update etc. are available.

Talking about other features, this scooter has a fuel tank capacity of 5.2 liters. The scooter measures 780 mm while its curb weight is 106 kg. The scooter has a great under-seat boot space of 21.8 liters.
