Suzuki E-Bergman electric scooter introduced, know its range

 

The demand for electric vehicles is increasing rapidly all over the world and there has been a huge increase in their demand in India as well. In the last few years, there has been a revolution in the Indian market in the electric two-wheeler segment and Suzuki Motorcycle also wants to join it.

Due to this, Suzuki Motorcycle is soon going to bring an electric scooter which will be introduced in India soon. But before that, the company has revealed its new electric scooter ‘e-Bergman’, which is based on the company’s Burgman Street.

The Suzuki e-Bergman electric scooter looks similar to its petrol model. The front part has been given maxi style bodywork which gives it a sporty look. At the same time, from the side panel to the hardware like front fork and front disc brake, it looks like a petrol model.

Due to the even distribution of weight due to the electric motor and battery, the Suzuki E-Bergman may get dual rear shock absorbers. Talking about the size, it is 1825 mm long, 765 mm wide and 1140 mm high. Its weight is 147 kg.

 

Suzuki e-Burgmann electric scooter unveiled

 

The Suzuki e-Bergmann Class II is a lightweight electric scooter. It is powered by an AC synchronous electric motor that produces 5.36 bhp power and 18 Nm torque. This electric scooter has a replaceable lithium-ion battery.

If this electric scooter is driven at a speed of 60 km/h, then it can provide a range of 44 km on a single charge. Its range may be less but its battery can be changed. The company is going to set up a charging station for this in Japan.

Let us inform that currently it is in testing phase and its 8 units are being tested in Japan. Its experiment is going to start from April and will run till June 2023. Now it has to be seen when the company brings this electric scooter to the market.

This electric scooter from Suzuki is going to compete with models like TVS iCube and Bajaj Chetak. Along with this, Honda is also going to bring two new electric scooters and it is also going to compete with Suzuki’s model in the market.

Recently, Suzuki Two-Wheelers has launched the new OBD2-A and E20 fuel compliant scooter range in India. The company’s new scooter range includes the Suzuki Access 125, Burgman Street and the Avensis 125. The new scooter E20 followed.
