The Access 125 facelift still sports a 10-inch rear wheel, while most new scooters currently feature 12-inch wheels. We hope that there won’t be many changes to its mechanics.
Suzuki Access 125 Facelift: Suzuki Motorcycles last updated its popular Access 125 in 2016, just before the implementation of BS4 emission norms, and it has remained largely the same since then. However, a test mule resembling a facelifted Suzuki Access 125 has been spotted testing.
Despite no visible badging on the test mule, its silhouette suggests it is an Access 125. It boasts a neutral design with smooth body panels. However, major changes in appearance compared to the current model are not expected. Notably, the headlight cowl appears redesigned, hinting at a more powerful iteration than the current-generation scooter.
Enhanced Practicality: The Suzuki Access 125 has always been a practical scooter, and the addition of a storage cubby on the right-hand side enhances its utility. Furthermore, the exhaust heat shield and rear mudguard have undergone redesigns. However, it remains uncertain whether Suzuki will increase its 21.8-liter underseat storage capacity, as most ICE and EV scooters in the market now offer over 30 liters of storage.
Features: Some test mules have hazard lights, a feature likely to be included in the production-spec model. Currently, features of the Access 125 include a kill switch, external fuel filler lid, USB charging port, one-push central lock system, and two luggage hooks.
Expected Price Increase: The Access 125 facelift retains its 10-inch rear wheel, unlike most new scooters which feature 12-inch wheels. We hope there won’t be many changes to its mechanics, although it will sport a slightly altered design compared to the current model. The current ex-showroom price of the Suzuki Access 125 ranges from Rs 79,899 to Rs 90,500, though prices are expected to slightly increase with the launch of this facelift.
