Samsung has unveiled a pair of new Odyssey gaming monitors at Gamescom 2022.
The Odyssey G70B and G65B models are the first in the line to feature built-in Samsung Smart Platform and Samsung Gaming Hub. And all this is due to the fact that the new items are running Tizen.
Monitors can connect wirelessly to PCs and Macs, use Samsung DeX, they support Apple AirPlay 2 and have access to the Microsoft 365 cloud service. There are also Netflix and Amazon Prime, Xbox, GeForce Now, Google Stadia, Utomik and Amazon services. Luna.
The company also notes the highly sensitive Far Field Voice microphone, which also serves for voice commands. There is support for Bixby and Alexa, there is an Always On Voice function, in which interaction with Bixby in text mode is displayed even when the monitor is turned off.
On the technical side, the G70B is available in 28″ and 32″ versions, while the G65B offers 27″ and 32″ panels. There is support for FreeSync Premium Pro, and the G70B also supports Nvidia G-Sync. This model supports a frame rate of 144 Hz, while the younger one already offers 240 Hz.
