It is reported that Sonu Nigam, Delhi Technological University (DTU) arrived at Engifest 2025 to perform on Sunday, March 24. But due to some reason there was an uproar between the concert, due to which Sonu had to stop his concert in the middle. It is being told that one of the huge crowds of millions of students started throwing stones and bottles on the stage, due to which Sonu stopped his concert in the middle. Not only this, he also shouted the riot students.
According to the report of Hindustan Times, Sonu Nigam was stoned in an event of DTU. Singers got upset due to students throwing bottles and stones among the live shows. He requested people not to do so. Sonu pleaded with the uncontrollable audience present on Rohini’s campus and said, ‘I have come here for you so that we can all spend good time. I am not telling you that you do not enjoy, but please do not do it. Sonu said that his team members have been injured.
Sonu Nigam has not shared any statement or video about this matter. However, he has shared some clips from Delhi University concert on Instagram, in which he can be seen performing and enjoying the audience. These videos are also dominated on the fan page. However, there is no glimpse of throwing stones or any kind of uproar.
