Tata Motors

Tata Motors has partnered with HDFC Bank to provide digital financing solutions to its commercial vehicle customers. According to the statement issued by the company, both the companies have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in this regard. Rajesh Kaul, Vice President and Business Head (Truck), Tata Motors, said that this partnership is in line with our commitment to enhance customer experience through innovative digital solutions.

LIC

With the shares of public sector Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) reaching a 52-week high, the market cap of the company reached close to Rs 5 lakh crore on Thursday. It has become the second largest public sector company in terms of market cap. The company’s shares rose 5.34 percent to Rs 785.50 in BSE. Whereas in National Stock Exchange the share stood at Rs 785.15 with an increase of 5.25 percent.

Sanghi Industries

Ravi Sanghi has resigned from the post of Chairman and Managing Director of the company. Aditya Sanghi and Alok Sanghi also resigned as executive directors of the company with effect from December 7, 2023. Sukuru Rama Rao has been appointed as whole-time director and CEO and Sanjay Kumar Khazanchi as CFO, with effect from December 7, 2023.

IRCON International

The government’s offer to sell up to 8 percent stake in IRCON International was subscribed by more than 100 percent by institutional investors. Institutional investors bid more than Rs 2,400 crore in this offering. The government will sell 8 percent stake in IRCON i.e. 7.53 crore equity shares at a minimum price of Rs 154 per share in a two-day offer for sale (OFS).

Tata Power

Tata Power Distribution Companies (Discoms) have made more than 10 lakh new electricity ‘connections’ in Odisha since 2020. According to the statement issued by the company, this joint venture between Tata Power and Odisha Government includes TP (Tata Power) Central, TP Southern, TP Northern and TP Western Odisha Distribution Limited, which are operating in the entire state.
