Stock Market Opening: Market’s flat move, Sensex in red mark, Nifty opened with slight gains

Stock Market Opening: There are signs of volatility in the stock market today. While the Nifty was in the red mark in the pre-opening, the market returned to the green mark as soon as it opened. Today is the day of weekly expiry of the market and due to the buying of investors, the Indian stock market is seen trying to stay in the upper range.

In today’s trade, the BSE 30-share index Sensex opened at 55,391.93, down 5.60 points, or 0.010 percent, and the NSE Nifty gained 2.70 points, or 0.016 percent, to open at 16,523.55.

What’s up with Nifty
Today 31 out of 50 stocks of Nifty are trading with a boom and 19 stocks are seeing red mark of decline. Bank Nifty is showing flat trading and is down 4 points at the level of 35968, which is close to yesterday’s trading level.

What is the picture of Sectoral Index
Financial services, IT, pharma, consumer durables along with oil and gas sectors are trading with a red mark of decline. Today, the highest jump of 1.21 percent is being seen in media stocks. Auto, realty and private bank sector stocks are seen in the trade with a boom.

Today’s rising stocks
IndusInd Bank continues with a jump of 4.34 percent, Hindalco 2.26 percent and UPL 1.5 percent. ITC is trading in the green with a strength of 1.07 percent and Adani Ports 0.87 percent.

Today’s Falling Shares
Wipro 1.66 percent, Kotak Mahindra Bank is trading with a weakness of 1.09 percent. HDFC Life is also trading down 1.09 percent. SBI Life is trading with a decline of 0.55 percent and Bajaj Finance 0.47 percent.

Nifty and Sensex were trading with mixed signals in today’s pre-opening market. Nifty was trading at the level of 16469.50 after a fall of 51.30 points or 0.30 percent. On the other hand, the Sensex is seen trading at the level of 55455.88 with a gain of 58.35 points.
