Stock market crash, Sensex fell by more than 700 points, investors lost Rs 4.36 lakh crore in half an hour.

The stock market crashed within half an hour on Monday morning due to instability regarding the results of the Lok Sabha elections and before the arrival of inflation data. According to BSE data, Sensex saw a fall of more than 700 points, while Nifty also fell below 22000 points. Apart from Tata Motors, there is a big fall in the shares of Tata Steel, Maruti, NTPC and Reliance Industries. Due to this fall, more than 17 crore investors in the stock market have lost Rs 4.36 lakh crore in half an hour. Big fall in stock market

A big fall is being seen in the stock market on Monday. In just half an hour, the Bombay Stock Exchange’s main index Sensex fell by 713.78 points and reached a lower level of 71,950.69 points. However, at 10 am the Sensex is trading at the level of 72,000 points with a fall of 690 points. On the other hand, the main index of National Stock Exchange is trading at 21,873 points with a fall of 182.20 points. Whereas during the trading session Nifty had reached the lower level of 21,828.40 points.

Which stocks fell?

There is a big fall in the shares of Tata Motors on the National Stock Exchange. Tata Motors shares are trading with a decline of 8.43 percent. On the other hand, a decline of 2.80 percent is being seen in the shares of BPCL. ONGC shares are trading with a decline of 2.18 percent. Shares of Hero Motors and Coal India are down by more than 2 percent. Shares of the country’s largest company Reliance Industries are trading with a decline of 1.30 percent. SBI shares have fallen by more than one and a half percent.

Investors lost Rs 4.36 lakh crore

Due to the fall in the stock market, investors have suffered huge losses in just half an hour. According to the data, at 9.45 am the market cap of BSE had come to Rs 3,92,19,774.29 lakh crore. Whereas after the market closed on Friday, the market cap of BSE was Rs 3,96,56,440.83 lakh crore. This means that investors have suffered a loss of Rs 4.36 lakh crore.
