Startups pay software engineers more salary than TCS, Infosys

However, this is not the case in all cases. A survey has shown that engineers working in startups get more salary than big IT companies.

Among these startups, Sharechat gives the highest salary to mid-level software engineers. Software Engineers with about four years of experience in Sharechat get an annual salary package of about Rs 47 lakhs. It is followed by CRED and Meesho, which offer packages of Rs 40 lakh and Rs 39 lakh respectively.

During Corona, many big software companies provided work from home facility to the employees. However, these companies are now pressurizing the employees to come to the office. TCS has asked its staff to work from office at least three days a week.
