SSC Stenographer Final Vacancy 2025 released: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released a possible final vacancy list for SSC Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and ‘D’ recruitment 2025. Candidates who were sitting in the SSC Stonographer Recruitment Examination, can now check the department wise vacancy by visiting the official website of the Commission (SSC) ssc.gov.in.
A total of 1926 vacancies will be filled through SSC Steno recruitment issued by the Commission. These include 239 vacancies of Group C and 1687 vacancies of Group D. These vacancies will be filled in different 14 different departments of Group C and 53 different departments of Group D.
The maximum number of 72 vacancies in Group C are in the Department of Finance, Revenue Department, Central Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) Department. At the same time, the maximum number of 283 vacancies in Group D are in the Department of Finance, Revenue Department, Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT). Let us know that the recruitment examinations of SSC Stenographer Group C and D were conducted on 10 and 11 December at examination centers across the country, computer based examination (Paper 1) was conducted and the results were declared on 6 March. The commission also declared the category wise cut-off percentage along with the result. UR: 30%, OBC/EWS: 25% and all other categories (SC, ST, PWD, ESM, etc.) have been 20%.
According to the official website, cut off marks for unreserved category candidates who qualified for grade C were 148.57526, and cut off marks for unreserved candidates who qualified for Grade D were 130.93746.
