Today, Sony officially announced that it will hold a global conference dedicated to the presentation of the new Xperia smartphone on September 1st.
The presentation will be held under the motto “Inspiration and sophistication”. The source unanimously claims that the presentation will definitely show the Sony Xperia 5 IV smartphone, which has been certified by the US Federal Communications Commission.
Sony Xperia 5 IV will receive a screen with a diagonal of 6.04 inches and a body with a width of 67.1 mm and a height of 155.74 mm. The Sony Xperia 5 IV will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 flagship single-chip system. The smartphone will receive three 12 megapixel image sensors: Sony IMX557, Sony IMX363 and Sony IMX663. The second camera will be ultra wide-angle, the third will receive a telephoto lens.
Sony Xperia 5 IV will receive NFC, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, will support Wi-Fi 6 and wireless charging (for the first time in this line).
In addition to the Xperia 5 IV, other products from the Xperia series are also expected to be presented at the conference.
