According to his anonymous sources familiar with the situation, the novelty will begin to be produced in the middle of fiscal year 2023, and it will enter the market in September 2024. The price has not yet been announced.
It is known that the drive will connect to the Type-C port on the rear panel. This will allow you to equip any console with a drive, as well as easily replace it in case of failure. It is also noted that the sale will be just consoles, versions with a drive and separate drives for discs. In this case, the drives will be designed in such a way as to look like a single device with the console.
