Sony launches new Bravia TV, displays ranging from 43 to 85 inches, price up to Rs 4.5 lakh

The price of Sony Bravia 9 ranges from $3,299 (approximately Rs 2,75,586) to $5,499 (approximately Rs 4,59,366).

Sony has unveiled its Bravia series 2024 television lineup, which includes OLED and LED options as well as models with Mini-LED technology. Here we are telling you in detail about the features and specifications of the new Sony Bravia 9, Bravia 8, Bravia 7 and Bravia 3, including price etc.

Price of Sony Bravia 9, 8,7 and 3

The price of Sony Bravia 9 ranges from $3,299 (approximately Rs 2,75,586) to $5,499 (approximately Rs 4,59,366). Whereas the price of Bravia 8 ranges from $1,999 (approximately Rs 1,66,989) to $3,899 (approximately Rs 3,25,708). Apart from this, the price of Bravia 7 ranges from $1,899 (approximately Rs 1,58,635) to $3,499 (approximately Rs 2,92,293). And the price of Bravia 3 ranges from $599 (approximately Rs 50,038) to $1,799 (approximately Rs 1,50,280).

Features of Sony Bravia 9

Bravia 9 has 65 inch, 75 inch and 85 inch display. The new Mini-LED flagship model delivers improved brightness with a new 22-bit Mini-LED backlight unit with 325% more brightness. Sony claims this new backlight delivers OLED-level blacks for brilliant brightness and better contrast. Bravia 9 supports Dolby Vision. Netflix, Sony Pictures, and Prime Video offer Studio Calibration mode. It is equipped with a light sensor for automatic brightness adjustment. 

4K 120Hz refresh rate, variable refresh rate and auto low latency mode have been provided for gamers. Along with this, there are also features like auto-tone for game menu and PS5 compatibility. The Bravia 9 is equipped with only two HDMI 2.1 ports. Talking about sound setup, Bravia 9 has a 2.2.2 speaker system with Acoustic Multi Audio + technology, which includes new beam tweeters for better sound directivity and spaciousness. Additional audio features include Voice Zoom 3 for dialogue clarity, Acoustic Center Sync for integrating the TV with Sony soundbar as a center speaker, Dolby Atmos support, and IMAX Enhanced certification.

Features of Sony Bravia 8

Bravia 8 falls on the mid category in this series, which includes 55 inch, 65 inch and 77 inch display sizes. This OLED TV is equipped with W-OLED panel which is quite slim. The Bravia 8 shares many of the same features as the Bravia 9, including image calibration mode, Dolby Vision and Atmos support, two HDMI 2.1 ports, 4K 120Hz refresh rate, VRR, and gaming features.

Features of Sony Bravia 7

The Bravia 7 is Sony’s entry-level Mini-LED offering. The Bravia 7 is available in multiple screen sizes from 55 inches to 85 inches. Its brightness has improved significantly. The Bravia 7 has the same design as the Bravia 9, which includes a 4-way stand, Dolby Vision and Atmos/DTS:X support, Prime Video calibration mode, Voice Zoom 3, gaming features and more. Apart from this, features similar to Bravia 9 have been given in it. The Bravia 7 offers lower peak brightness and lower backlight brightness.

Features of Sony Bravia 3

Bravia 3 has display options ranging from 43 inches to 85 inches. The Bravia 3 is designed keeping in mind budget users who want a basic television. This Direct-LED TV offers many features. This entry level TV has support for Dolby Vision and Atmos. This includes the image calibration modes found on high-end models, including the new Prime Video mode. For gaming, Bravia 3 has a 60Hz refresh rate. It now includes features like Game Menu and ALLM to improve the PS5 experience.
