Last year, the Swedish company Urbanista showed Los Angeles headphones with solar panels built into the headband. Now, Phoenix wireless TWS headphones are presented, which are also equipped with a similar charging mechanism. But here the battery is placed on the case.
The developers said that the headphones work up to 8 hours from their own batteries, as well as up to 32 hours when using the case. Moreover, an hour under the rays of the sun gives energy for an hour of music playback. The charge level can be monitored in the application, the equalizer and touch buttons are also configured there.
The headphones are equipped with active noise cancellation, have a transparency mode and can connect to two devices at the same time. This allows, for example, not to disconnect from the laptop to answer a phone call.
Headphones are available in black and pink versions, support the Bluetooth 5.2 connection standard and have IPX4 water protection. This means that they are not afraid of the bot, but rain or showers can be dangerous for the device.
The Urbanista Phoenix headphones will be available in the fourth quarter of 2022 for $149. In which countries they will be sold in the first place, is unknown.
