After almost four years of waiting, the second part of the remake (or is it a sequel?) of Final Fantasy VII has finally reached stores. The new product has already been appreciated by both critics and gamers.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth was released late last week, and as you can see from the online reactions, the second episode of the adventures of Cloud Strife and his friends turned out to be exactly what fans were waiting for. On Metacritic, the title received entirely positive reviews – the average score from journalists was 92, and user ratings (of which there are already almost 1000) remain at 9 points out of 10. On the OpenCritic portal the situation is even better: there the JRPG has 93 points and 100% of recommendations from all 104 experts.
Critics praise the sequel for everything: for the improvements in the mechanics of Final Fantasy VII Remake, for the nostalgic emotions that the game gives. Many people note that compared to the background of Rebirth, the previous part feels like a demo. A Washington Post employee described his emotions most curiously :
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is so good it almost ruined my life.
Let us remind you that the premiere of the second chapter of the updated Final Fantasy VII trilogy took place on February 29. The game was released exclusively on PlayStation 5, but in the future it will also appear on PC.
