OnePlus is reportedly working on its flagship tablet, the OnePlus Pad 2. The tablet’s launch timeframe was recently disclosed in a post by tipster Max Jambor. A new update from the brand has unveiled the chipset that will power the tablet. Here are the detailed specifications of the OnePlus Pad 2.
Specifications of OnePlus Pad 2
According to Jambor, the OnePlus Pad 2 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. So far, no brand has launched a tablet equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. There is a possibility that the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro may also feature the same chipset. OnePlus introduced its first tablet, the OnePlus Pad, last year, which was essentially a rebranded version of the Oppo Pad 2. Recent reports suggest that Oppo may soon launch the Oppo Pad 3 with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip in China. It is likely to debut alongside the Reno 12 series in May. This device could be rebranded as the OnePlus Pad 2 in the global market.
It’s rumored that other details about the OnePlus Pad 3 have been leaked and it may be introduced in the second half of this year. The inclusion of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset in the OnePlus Pad 2 suggests that it could be priced higher than the OnePlus Pad. The OnePlus Pad, based on the Dimensity 9000, was priced at 499 Euros in Europe and Rs 37,999 in India. It’s possible that the price of the Pad 2 in the Indian market may be around Rs 45,000. More information about the Pad 2 is likely to be leaked in the coming days.
