1- Prevent smartwatch from hitting hard things
Remember, the screen is one of the most important parts of your smartwatch, so protect it. The display of most smartwatches is not as strong as that of a smartphone. Hence it is important to protect it from scratches, bumps and falls. Also make sure that you do not keep the watch with keys, pens, Swiss knives, coins and similar things.
2- Use tempered glass
Like smartphones, tempered glass is also available for smartwatches. It is recommended to use tempered glass or similar tempered glass to avoid any screen damage.
3- Do not wear bangles or bracelets in the same hand
Never wear any other accessory, such as bangles or bracelets, on the same hand you wear your smartwatch. As these will rub against the screen and the strap, causing scratches to both.
4- Keep it clean
If you want your smartwatch to last longer, keeping it clean is important. The reason is very simple – dirt, dust and other particles can get trapped in the small spaces around the screen of your smartwatch. Your watch strap can collect dirt and if you don’t clean it often, it can lead to disease.
5- Keep it away from moisture
It is true that smartwatches come with IP certification which makes them water and dust resistant, but that does not mean that you can submerge them in water. Remember, water damage is not covered under any warranty.
