Let us know how you can find out in three to four easy steps whether your smartphone will support 5G network or not. Let us tell you that we are currently talking to Android smartphone users here. First of all open ‘Settings’ on your Android phone, then click on ‘WiFi & Network’ option and now select ‘SIM & Network’. Here you will see the names of all the technologies that your phone supports in the option of ‘Preferred Network Type’.

iPhone users follow these steps 

If you are an iPhone user, then let us know that by following some steps, you can also check whether 5G network will work on your phone or not. Go to ‘Settings’ of your phone, then click on ‘Mobile Data’ option and then select ‘Network Selection’. Here you will also see whether your phone supports 5G or not. 

If your smartphone supports 5G network, then 2G/3G/4G/5G will be listed there. If you do not see this option, then understand that only 4G network will run on your phone and you will have to buy a phone with 5G network.
