Skoda Slavia Sedan Production Begins In India: Continuing its aggressive campaign to continue production under the India 2.0 project, Skoda Auto has commenced production of the upcoming premium midsize sedan Skoda Slavia from its manufacturing plant in Chakan, Pune. The production of the Slavia, which has been designed keeping in mind the Indian market, marks the entry of the company in the field of manufacturing all-new sedans. Skoda Auto has started a new legacy for India and the world with this plant.
Sedan with great looks and features
Developed on Skoda Auto’s MQB A0 IN platform under the India 2.0 project, the Skoda Slavia will be available in a 1.0-litre engine equipped with a 3-cylinder turbo petrol and a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder turbo petrol variant. The sedan will be offered in India with 6-speed manual, 6-speed automatic or 7-speed DSG transmission options. Coming to attractive color options like Candy White, Brilliant Silver, Carbon Steel, Tornado Red and Crystal Blue, the Skoda Slavia is not only spectacular to look at, but also features amazing. Skoda Slavia will be offered in 3 luxurious variants namely Active, Ambition and Style.
