Skoda Kushaq, Slavia’s new Ambition variant launched, price slashed

Skoda has introduced the option of a 1.5-litre TSI petrol engine in the Ambition variants of the Kushaq and Slavia. Skoda is engaged in expanding its existing vehicle lineup and has now introduced a new engine option in the Ambition variants of the Kushaq and Slavia.

The price of Skoda Kushaq Ambition 1.5L has been kept at Rs 14.99 Lakh and the price of Slavia Ambition 1.5L has been kept at Rs 14.94 Lakh. Earlier this engine was available only in the top model Style variant but now it has been brought in the mid variant to woo the customers.

This 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine from Skoda offers 150 hp power and 250 Nm torque, which is 34 hp and 72 Nm more than the 1.0-litre. There is a choice of 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCT gearbox with this engine.

This 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine gets cylinder deactivation where two cylinders can be completely deactivated for better mileage. Talking about the price, the Kushaq Ambition 1.5-litre manual costs Rs 1.8 lakh more than the Kushaq Ambition 1.0.

The automatic variant, on the other hand, costs Rs 16.79 lakh, which is Rs 1.80 lakh more than the price of the Kushaq Ambition 1.0L automatic. Skoda has also introduced the Kushaq 1.5 TSI Ambition Dual Tone priced at Rs 16.84 lakh.

After this, talk about Slavia, its 1.5 TSI Ambition costs Rs 1.95 lakh more than the 1.0 liter variant. The automatic variant, on the other hand, costs Rs 1.95 lakh more than the Slavia Ambition 1.0L automatic.

Whereas, the price of Slavia 1.5 TSI Ambition Dual Tone has been kept at Rs 16.29 lakh. Thus, with the introduction of these new variants, the Slavia 1.5L engine variant has become available at a lower price of Rs 2.06 lakh and Rs 2.16 lakh respectively.

Recently, Skoda Kushaq has brought a new variant Onyx Edition between the base and mid variants. It has been brought at a price of Rs 12.39 lakh, which is Rs 80,000 more than the base Active variant.

The 2023 Skoda Kushaq Onyx Edition is offered with only the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine. With the new edition, the Kushaq gets a new look along with a few extra features over the base variant. However, not many changes have been made in it.
