Skoda has announced the release of three brand new all-electric models by 2026.

Skoda has reaffirmed its environmental commitment by announcing plans to launch three all-new all-electric models by 2026.

In addition to three brand new electric vehicles coming out over the next four years, the company will also add new models in the coming years, and most of them will be electric. By 2030, the share of electric vehicles in the brand’s European sales will grow to more than 70%, according to Skoda. This means that the company will continue to release new or updated models with internal combustion engines.

Skoda also wants to achieve the greatest possible reduction in CO2 emissions in its production cycle. The company’s Indian plants will become CO2-neutral in 2025, and one of its Czech plants (in Vrchlabí) has already achieved this goal at the end of 2020. Two other Skoda plants in the Czech Republic are to become CO2-neutral by 2030.

Recycling is also an important part of the company’s strategy. In the case of the Octavia, a third of the materials used to make a car today are recycled. These are steel, aluminum, glass, plastic and even insulating materials.
