Skoda Auto India is all set to launch Enyaq in India on February 27, which will be the first electric car from the company in the country. The electric SUV was first showcased at the India Global Mobility Expo and was also spotted testing on Indian roads in early December last year. The car has already been introduced in five trims in the global market. It is expected to bring similar specifications as the global version in India also.
The Skoda Enyaq electric SUV was launched in the global market in 2022, but in India it will be exported completely built (CBU), which will definitely affect its price. At present there is no information about its price in India.
Talking about the exterior design, the length of this SUV with 2,765 mm wheelbase is 4,648 mm, width is 1,877 mm and height is 1,618 mm. The Enyaq features an illuminated grille, sweptback LED headlamps and aero-inspired alloy wheels, which give it a modern and somewhat futuristic look. The rear features wraparound two-piece LED taillights, an integrated spoiler and a shark-fin antenna.
Talking about the features, the Enyaq electric car in the global market comes equipped with Advanced Driver Assist System (ADAS), 360-degree camera, dual all-digital display and a multifunction steering wheel.
Although Enyaq has been introduced in the global market in five trims, out of which the base model claims to have a range of up to 400 kilometers and the top model claims to have a range of up to 550 kilometers. However, it is expected to be launched in India in one of these variants, which is equipped with a 77 kWh battery pack and claims a WLTP range of 500 km. Equipped with a rear-mounted electric motor, this trim gets a maximum power output of 200 bhp and peak torque of 310 Nm, which is claimed to accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 8.5 seconds.
