Skoda Auto India has achieved a growth of 721 percent in June 2022 as compared to the previous year. It is worth noting that Skoda Auto’s January-June 2022 sales have already surpassed the full 2021 sales. Last year, the company recorded annual sales of 23,858 units.
On the other hand, Skoda Auto India has completed sales of 28,899 units in the first six months of the year 2022. This good sales performance of the company can be attributed to new products like Skoda Slavia sedan and Skoda Kushaq SUV.
Commenting on the last month’s sales, Zac Hollis, Brand Director, Skoda Auto India, said, “Both of our India 2.0 products have entered the market in the very challenging backdrop of the global pandemic, intermittent lockdowns, economic turmoil. -Thustle, geopolitical instability, and a continuing semiconductor shortage are disrupting the supply chain.”

To attract new customers, Skoda India launched a new non-sunroof variant of its popular SUV Skoda Kushaq last month. The company has launched this car in a new style non-sunroof variant, which has been priced at Rs 15.09 lakh (ex-showroom).
This new non-sunroof variant has been offered only with the 1.0-litre TSI manual gearbox.
