Simple Energy: A new model will be seen in the electric two-wheeler segment as a simple one electric scooter. The scooter is expected to come with best-in-class features in its segment. This electric scooter will compete with models like Ola S1 Pro, Ather 450X, Bajaj Chetak, Hero Vida and TVS iQube. It is expected to be a premium affordable EV. Its price details will be revealed at the time of launch on May 23, 2023 and its deliveries will start later. The production of Simple One has started at the company’s plant in Tamil Nadu.
Design
Recently, Simple One has been seen during testing before launch. Spy pictures show that it has a futuristic design with sharp paneling. Its lighting elements can also be seen on the handlebar cowl. It also gets a compact windscreen and sporty rear-view mirrors. It features a comfortable, upright riding stance with flat seat, 30 liters of storage space in the front and under the seat.
Color and Features
The Simple One electric scooter will come in Brazen Black, Namma Red, Azure Blue and Grace White color options. It will get a simple dashboard with lots of features including remote commands, geo-fencing, remote locking, save and forward routes, OTA updates and ride statistics.

The Simple One electric scooter is equipped with a 4.8 kWh battery pack, which is mated to an 8.5 kW electric motor. Which is capable of generating peak torque of 72 Nm. This scooter can achieve a speed of 0-40 kmph in 2.77 seconds. Its top speed is 105 kmph. It will get a range of up to 236 km. It gets 12-inch wheels, patented brakes and patented CBS.
who will compete
The price of this scooter is expected to be less than Rs 1 lakh, it can compete with Ola S1 Pro, which offers a range of up to 181 km per charge.
