Shikhar Dhawan Like many players of the Indian cricket team, Shikhar Dhawan is also fond of expensive and luxury cars. The cricketer added the new BMW M8 coupe to his car collection last year and recently Shikhar Dhawan shared a few more pictures of him with the car on social media.
Shikhar has shared these pictures on his Instagram profile shikhardofficial. Last year when Shikhar Dhawan took delivery of the BMW M8 Coupe, BMW shared pictures of it on Twitter. The BMW M8 is one of the most powerful cars sold from the manufacturer in India.
The BMW M8 Coupe is actually a performance oriented version of the BMW 8 Series Gran Coupe. BMW officially launched the M8 in India in 2020. Shikhar Dhawan had chosen a metallic black shade which looked great on the car. From the recent pictures shared by the cricketer on Instagram, it seems that he has not made any changes in it.
However, the image gives a glimpse of the interior of the M8 Coupe. The rimless windows give it a sporty look and the red colored interiors take things to the next level.
The lower part of the dashboard and the seats and door pads are finished in red. In the two pictures shared by Shikhar Dhawan, in one he is standing outside the car and in the other he is seen standing on the driver’s seat.
In the performance car segment, the BMW M8 will compete with the likes of Audi RS Sportback, Mercedes-Benz AMG GT 63. Like regular BMWs, the M8 also gets the signature kidney grille at the front.
Moving to BMW M8 Coupe offers 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Merino leather upholstery, sound system from Harman, M sports seats, ambient lighting, park assist plus, 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless charging, BMW Display and so on.
The BMW M8 gets a 4.4-litre, twin-turbo V8 engine. This engine generates a maximum of 592 bhp and 750 Nm of peak torque. It is mated to an 8-speed Steptronic automatic transmission and sends power to all the wheels using the M-spec xDrive AWD system.
The M8 can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 3.3 seconds. A new M8 Coupe costs upwards of Rs 2 crore, ex-showroom.
