Will be able to make online payment on any number
Under the new service, Paytm has announced to provide UPI payment facility on any mobile number. Digital payment service platform Paytm on Monday announced that Paytm users will be able to make UPI payments on any UPI registered mobile number. Same if that mobile number is not login with Paytm account, even then UPI payment can be done on that number. Simply put, users will be able to make payments on Gpay, Amazon Pay, Phonepe and any other payment app from their Paytm account. This is an important step in the UPI ecosystem. The company believes that this will help in onboarding new UPI users.
How to send money through Paytm on UPI app
- First of all open Paytm account. Then tap on the UPI Money Transfer option.
- After this, click on the To UPI Apps option appearing below the UPI section.
- After this, enter the mobile number on which you want to send the money. After this valid UPI ID will appear. This includes third party apps like Gpay and PhonePe.
- After this, the amount you want to transfer has to be entered. Then tap on the Pay Now option.
- Then with the help of MPIN number, you will be able to verify the transaction.
- After this money can be easily transferred from one account to another.
