After this, you will get an SMS with UPC i.e. Universal Product Code, which will include expiry date. This code has to be shown at the offline store. After this you will get a new sim. For the new sim, you will have to provide ID card like Aadhaar card and address proof as a document. After this, you will be able to run free 5G internet by pressing on the new SIM.
Note At present, no announcement has been made by Vi as to when the 5G network will be rolled out in India. While Bharatiya Sanchar Nigam Limited i.e. BSNL can launch its 5G service in India by August 15 next year.
