New Delhi:Google Street View: Google has announced that Street View will be brought back to the Google Maps app in India. Initially this facility will be available in 10 cities. Which includes Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Pune, Nashik, Vadodara, Ahmedabad and Amritsar. Through this feature, Google Maps users can see the roads in 360 degree view. The company has partnered with Tech Mahindra and Genesis International for this. This feature will be available for both Android and iOS. The facility will be expanded to 50 cities in India by the end of 2022, the company said.
In addition, the company said, it offers Street View APIs to local developers. Because, they will be empowered to develop features and experiences using street view imagery. How to use Street View in Google Maps on Android
Step 1 – Open the Google Maps app on your Android phone or tablet.
Step 2 – Search for any location or put a pin on Maps.
Step 3 – Touch and hold any location on the maps to add a pin.
Step 4 – At the bottom, tap on the place name or address.
Step 5 – Scroll down and select the photo labeled “Street View” or select the Street View icon 360 photo thumbnail.

How to use Street View in Google Maps on Android
Step 1 – Open the Google Maps app on your Android phone or tablet.
Step 2 – Tap on Layers at the top and Street View again.
Step 3 – Street View coverage in blue on the maps. Tap any blue line to access Street View.

Step 1 – Open Google Maps on your iPhone.
Step 2 – Search any location or tap on the location on the maps.
Step 3 – Tap on the Street View thumbnail.
Step 4 – Tap the bottom of the screen or the compass to view your surroundings in Street View.
Step 5 – Swipe right or left to pan the view. Tap the road line to change your points on the maps.

Step 1 – Open Google Maps on your iPhone or iPad.
Step 2 – At the top, tap on Layers and again on Street View.
Step 3 – The blue line on the maps shows Street View coverage. Tap the blue line to access Street View.
