Scientists have found a room for slaves in Pompeii

The small room had three beds, a ceramic pot, and a wooden chest. The room was unearthed during excavations at the Villa Civita Juliana, a few hundred meters from the rest of the ancient city. Earlier, archaeologists found here an almost intact ornate Roman chariot. Scientists have suggested that this room was probably inhabited by slaves who were tasked with maintaining the chariot.
