Scientists have found: 9 out of 10 children in the world breathe harmful air

They said that 93% of the world’s children under the age of 15 breathe harmful air. In addition, even fetuses in the womb suffer: the uterus cannot fully protect against polluted air. Because of this, the risks of having a low birth weight and stillbirth are increased.

Reporters also told the story of Ella, the first girl in the UK to have air pollution as the cause of death. The child suffered from severe asthma. On February 15, 2013, nine-year-old Ella passed away following an asthma attack and cardiac arrest.
