New Delhi:DigiLocker App: With the help of DigiLocker, you can keep all your important documents with you without having to carry them with you. DigiLocker is a cloud storage service of the Government of India, in which citizens of India can save their important documents. Besides saving these documents, you can also verify them on DigiLocker. For example, if the Driving License is in your DigiLocker, you don’t need to keep a copy of the Driving License with you. You can show your driving license to the traffic police from DigiLocker itself. Also, you can save important documents like mark sheets, certificates, identity proofs.
How to save documents in digilocker?
First open the DigiLocker app. The DigiLocker Account Sign In section will open. Login with your registered mobile number or Aadhaar number. Tap on login button after entering your registered phone number, OTP. First-time users of DigiLocker will need to set up a 6-digit security PIN. After this you have to login with this pin.
On the home page of the DigiLocker app, you will see a ‘Search’ option. Find any document you want to save. Now you have to enter document number and other required details. Now you have to click on ‘Get Document’ button. All the details of your document will be spread over the app. You will see the document in the ‘My Issued Documents’ section of the app
Share documents on DigiLocker as:
You can easily share documents saved in DigiLock. For that first open DigiLocker app. and sign in. Click on ‘Continue’ option. Here you have to click on the 3 dot option and open the document. After this you have to click on share option, select the platform you want to share on. You can also share on Email, WhatsApp, Facebook and other platforms for your convenience.
