Samsung has quietly launched its latest smartphone, the Galaxy F16 5G, in India. The phone will be available for purchase on Samsung India’s official website and Flipkart, with sales starting March 13 at 12 noon.

The Samsung Galaxy F16 5G has been introduced at a starting price of ₹11,499, which includes promotional offers. However, the company has not yet revealed the prices for different storage variants.
A banner on Flipkart confirms the phone’s price as ₹11,499 with offers, and sales will officially begin on March 13 at 12 PM. The exact pricing for all variants will be disclosed at that time. According to a leak from last month, the Galaxy F16 5G is expected to be available in three variants, priced at ₹13,999, ₹14,999, and ₹16,499, respectively.
Samsung Galaxy F16 5G Specifications & Features
The Galaxy F16 5G boasts a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a U-shaped notch. The screen offers an FHD+ resolution (1080 x 2340 pixels), a 90Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 800 nits. One of its biggest highlights is Samsung’s promise of 6 years of Android OS upgrades and security updates, ensuring long-term software support.
The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It also includes a microSD card slot for expandable storage. For power, the phone packs a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.
In terms of cameras, the Galaxy F16 5G features a 13MP front-facing selfie camera. On the back, it has a triple-camera setup, consisting of a 50MP primary sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor.
Additional features include support for 11 5G bands and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security.
